Guided tour of Linnaeus´ Hammarby

Please observe that Linnaeus´ Hammarby is situated 15 km southeast of central Uppsala.

Guided tour in English of Carl Linnaeus' home in the countryside. The house, built in 1762, is one of Sweden's best preserved 18th century manors. See the interior including the unique floral wallpapers of Linnaeus' bedroom and study.

The manor is only open for guided tours. Please arrive in good time and confirm your presence in the reception.
The ticket price includes admission to the museum area and garden.
Please note that the west wing is closed during 2026.

Groups of more than 10 people have to book a private guide in advance as tickets to regular tours are limited.

Visitors with free admission also have to make reservations for the guided tour.
Free admission applies for:
· children under the age of 18
· members of our friendship associations (bring your membership card)
· holders of our annual pass (bring the pass)
· employees and students at Uppsala University (bring the access card or student union card).
